Time For Tea

TEA: In the summer, I love to drink my cup of tea outside, have it as something to relax me as I unwind; bare feet propped up on a chair while I read a magazine and sip on soothing warm tea. In the winter, a cup of tea is a welcomed warmer to thaw out frozen fingers.  Being something that has its place in every season and finding a purpose in every occasion; work, rest and play, I thought it best to drink the nation's favourite medicine from beautiful cups that can be enjoyed all year round.

Say it with a card

While some are traditional and others more quirky, all are vibrant with beautiful typography. The messages on Katie Leamon's Valentines cards made me smile with amusement as I opened the delicately wrapped selection and flicked past charming and playful messages, equally matched with overtly flattering adjectives for both him and her.

A top to transcend the seasons

Do we need something new for every occasion? Probably not. But I can sympathise with those who want to change up their wardrobes for different events and work a fresh new look. Kate Sheridan

What's in a bag? Everything.

The handbag. Its contents is a collage of you and your life; your daily necessities, monthly treats and year on year memories.  In those pockets we forget exist are month old cinema tickets, a crumpled easy jet boarding pass, a go-to lipstick, notebook with illegible scribbles, some flyer you grabbed exiting the tube, the list goes on. Of course larger, more accessible pockets have everything you need to function; keys, wallet, phone, flask, book. Our handbag needs to be both functional and stylish if it’s going to secure its place as our everyday accessory. I’ve recently discovered a brand which offers both these things.
